Complissimo turns one: welcoming Michael Boeynaems and launching Complissimo 3.0

Complissimo is celebrating its first anniversary — and we’re marking the occasion with several major milestones.

Over the past year, we’ve worked closely with European financial institutions to build practical, intuitive solutions for DORA compliance and third-party ICT risk management. This first year has been shaped by collaboration, feedback, and a shared ambition: making regulatory compliance both manageable and sustainable.

As we enter our second year, we’re excited to share four important updates.

1. Welcoming a new co-founder

We’re delighted to welcome Michael Boeynaems as a co-founder, Co-Product Officer and CTO at Complissimo.

Michael brings deep expertise in cybersecurity and secure product development. In his role, he will lead the design and execution of a secure, scalable product architecture, while driving our cybersecurity innovation roadmap.

His arrival marks an important step in our long-term ambition: building compliance technology that financial institutions can trust — both functionally and technically — in an increasingly complex regulatory and threat landscape.

2. Launching Complissimo 3.0

Last week, we released Complissimo 3.0, a major product upgrade that expands our platform capabilities significantly.

Version 3.0 includes, among others:

• Full ICT contract lifecycle management, enabling structured oversight across third-party arrangements
• A digitised control model, supporting operational compliance and control monitoring
• One-click DORA Register of Information (RoI) reporting, generating the required output in the mandated format
• and several additional improvements across the platform experience and workflow integration

This release is a key step in making DORA compliance less dependent on manual reporting cycles — and more embedded in day-to-day governance.

3. Expanding our services offering

We are proud to have onboarded our 10th financial institution, completing our early adopter programme.

We’re deeply grateful to our early partners who co-built with us. Their input has been essential in shaping the platform and validating our approach to compliance ownership: keeping it where it belongs — with the institution itself.

Building on these learnings, we are launching a new suite of managed services, designed to help financial institutions:

• strengthen operational readiness
• reduce dependency on ad-hoc consulting
• and implement sustainable DORA compliance processes with predictable, fixed-fee support

4. What’s next: product roadmap for Q1 2026

As we continue to scale, we’re preparing the next evolution of our product suite.

Coming in Q1 2026:

• the Complissimo DORA AI Wizard, designed to streamline and accelerate compliance workflows
• a new cybersecurity module, enabling detailed security assessments of ICT solutions and vendors

The cybersecurity module will support assessments based on:

• custom institutional requirements, or
• best-practice frameworks such as DORA, NIST SP 800-53, and CyFun
